EVGA GeForce GTX 480 Hydro Copper FTW Video Card:

The world’s fastest GPU now meets the world’s best waterblock. EVGA teamed up with Swiftech to deliver a solution that truly goes “For The Win!” The EVGA Hydro Copper waterblock uses a 0.6x0.6mm thin pin matrix, and the base plate is made of chrome plated electrolytic C110 copper which gives it a clean look. The integrated heat pipe connects to the power mosfet heatsink for optimal cooling. This is a very interesting design and it looks like it makes the GeForce GTX 480 graphics card a single slot solution. It also comes factory overclocked as the core clocks are at 750MHz and a standard card comes in at just 700MHz. This is a very nice looking graphics card and could be a must for anyone with water cooling in their system!

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 Hydro Copper FTW Video Card Features:

* Core Clock Speed - 750MHz
* Memory Clock Speed - 3800MHz
* Memory Bandwidth - 182.4GB/sec
* Shader Clock Speed - 1500MHz
* C110 Copper baseplate.
* Integrated 0.6mm thin pin matrix for optimal thermal transfer
* Extra high-flow designed internals and barbs give minimum flow restriction, allowing

METRO 2033 ( PC Game )

Review By : Amiya Ranjan Chakraborty

Set in the shattered subway of a post apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands. In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the earth's surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age. The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival, with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside. You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised Underground. Having never ventured beyond your Metro Station-City limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system, to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat. Your journey takes you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above, where your actions will determine the fate of mankind.

The good :

* Rich, pervasive atmosphere
* Beautifully detailed environments
* Rewards exploration and observation
* Some clever weapons.

Bottomline:

* Occasional slowdown in frantic moments
* Problematic enemy AI
* Darkness is sometimes overbearing.

My Rating: 7/10

MSI launches its GTX 460 Cyclone cards

MSI has rolled out a total of four graphics based on the GTX 460 GPU. All of the cards feature MSI's Cyclone dual-slot cooler and use military class components. In addition to two reference clocked cards, MSI has also rolled out two identical ones but with a slight factory overclock.

The new MSI GTX 460 Cyclone card will be available in 768MB/192-bit or 1GB/256-bit version and while reference ones are clocked at 675MHz for the GPU, 1350MHz for those 336 CUDA cores, the OC series works at 725MHz and 1450MHz. All four version have a 3600MHz clocked GDDR5 memory.

The Cyclone cooler features two heapipes and a 90mm fan and according to MSI should be up to 15.7 percent quiter than the reference card. The cards should also be a bit cooler but bear in mind that this one keeps the hot air mostly inside the case as it has no plastic shroud, rather than to push it out of the case.

The 'default' GeForce GTX 460 editions have the GPU running at 675 MHz and the memory clock at 3600 MHz.

The Cyclone GTX 460 OC model on the other hand, flexes the GPU muscle all the way up towards a semi at 725MHz, the shaders to 1450 MHz and the GDDR5 to 3600 MHz (effective).
